A Cake smash session is a great way to celebrate your little one’s… BIG milestone with the added bonus that you can leave all of the mess to me!

These sessions are all about your baby having fun and capturing your little one’s growing personality (and all the giggles!)

Booking your Cake Smash at my studio in Huntingdon is simple: you do not need to pay a booking fee, as I only charge a £100 deposit – which is deducted from the image collection chosen at your viewing.

Here’s a sneak peek into how our Cake Smash Sessions unfold, turning your little one’s first birthday into a cake-tactic day of fun.

PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION

Before the big day, we’ll have a consultation to finalize the details. This is where we’ll discuss decorations, cakes and any special considerations.
If you have a specific outfit or accessories in mind, feel free to bring them along!

THE BIG DAY

On the day of the session, arrive at our studio with your little one, ready for a sugary adventure.
Your Cake smash photoshoot includes: a beautiful birthday-themed setup, a matching naked cake baked for you by our specialist partner.
Your session includes 3 parts: a portrait session (for some stunning “clean” portraits), the smash and a final “splash” into my miniature bath tub.

LET THE SMASHING BEGIN!

Once everything is set, your baby takes center stage. I capture the joy, excitement, and adorable mess as your little one explores the cake.
Parents are encouraged to join in on the fun, making it a memorable family experience.

I understand that capturing these precious moments is a unique experience, and I am here to guide you through the process.

Step 1: Booking Your Session

The journey begins with a simple message or email. Use the contact section to discuss your preferences, date, and any specific ideas you may have for the session. I recommend booking your cake smash session around two month before your baby’s birthday.

Step 2: The Photography Session

On the day of the session, I will create a comfortable, safe, and warm environment for your baby. I take the time to understand your preferences, including specific poses or themes you desire.

Sessions typically last around one hour.

We start with some pre-smash portraits being taken of your child, capturing their many expressions. We then introduce the cake. I can also provide outfits for your baby.The session also includes a bubble bath afterward to clean up and we also take some more photos of your little one enjoying bath time with bubbles.

Step 3: Viewing Your Gallery

Within three weeks,I will send you the link to your watermarked gallery. This is your opportunity to select your favorite photos and discuss any additional customization or products you’d like.
