Understanding the process
It all starts with an email enquiry.
Choosing the right photographer can be a daunting task. There are so many photographers, all with different styles and specialities so choosing the right one or you is really important to ensure you get the results you long for.I will email you my session guide to identify exactly what style you are after and to see if I am the right person for you.
I tend to schedule sessions well in advance, especially during the summer months. When you book, we’ll discuss a suitable timeframe for your shoot unless you already have a specific date in mind. Considering the unpredictable nature of the great British weather, I always explore alternative dates just in case of unexpected rain. Your session fee secures your slot in my diary, and before the shoot, I’ll provide you with plenty of hints, tips, and styling guidance to ensure you make the most out of your experience.
It’s crucial to me that your session feels unrushed. It takes time for adults to relax, and little ones need time to build trust. The shoot itself typically lasts no more than 1-2 hours, but if we need more time, that’s no problem at all. I’ll guide you throughout the experience, so don’t worry—I won’t make you pose awkwardly or feel uncomfortable. I’ll simply find the best light, position you accordingly, and encourage you to play and cuddle with your children. Easy!
It usually takes about three weeks for me to fully edit your session (three during peak times). You’ll then receive a private, password-protected online gallery of the entire collection. Relax at your leisure, browse, and choose your favorite images for purchase.
